XOLO Opus 3 is a budget smartphone by XOLO in its Opus series. It was announced in November, 2014. It comes with a sleek design, huge screen and powerful battery to fulfill the smartphone needs of budget buyers. The main attraction of this phone is its 5MP front camera which has an 88 degree wide angle lens to provide you an ultra clear selfies. The sales package of this phone contains charger, battery, user manual, warranty card and USB cable.

Display and Design

The front of the phone dominates a 5-inch IPS touchscreen which supports touch gestures. It has a display resolution of 1280x720 pixels along with 256K color depth and 294ppi pixel density. It is ideal for clear and rich visuals of games, video, multimedia content and movies. Measurement wise, this phone comes with a length of 143mm, width of 71.3mm and thickness of 8.8mm.

Processor and OS

The phone packs a 1.3GHz Quad core processor, MTK 6582M chipset and Mali 400 MP2 GPU under the hood coupled with 1GB RAM to run the multiple operations and to provide unrivalled service to the users. Running the device is an Android 4.2KitKat operating system.

Camera and Memory

For the camera lovers, it comes equipped with a 8MP rear camera with LED flash. It is capable of recording full HD videos and it also includes some features like scene detection, panorama mode, geo-tagging, HDR, face detection, live photo and smile shot. At the front, it hosts a 5MP camera that clicks a quality selfies and facilitates video calling. To store the data, it supports an internal memory of 8GB which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

For the faster internet experience, it offers Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, bluetooth to assist in wireless data sharing and USB cable for the PC connectivity. The battery ticking inside the phone is of 2500mAH unit   which delivers a 2G talktime of up to 26 hours and standby time of up to 550 hours. Whereas, on 3G it delivers 13 hours of talktime and 550 hours of standby time.

Xolo Opus 3 comes in only Black color option and it is priced at Rs. 8,500 approximately.
