Xolo is an Indian mobile company that designs and manufactures smartphones and tablets. The company was founded in 2012. In a short time span of three years till now Xolo has produced many tablets, smartphones and XOLO Q520s is recently one of them. The smartphone comes in a pack with a handset, headset, battery, charger, USB cable, user manual and a warranty card. Lets take a closer look at the specifications of this phone.

Design and Display

The Xolo Q520s gives a stylish and a sleek design at the first sight. The back panel comes coated with a silver metallic finish. It houses a display of 4 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with a clear resolution of 400x800 pixels. The phone gives an awesome appearance with its sharp edges. It also shows off a color depth of 16 Millions and 233 pixel density.

Processor and OS

The dual SIM phone comes equipped with 1.3 GHz Quad- Core processor, MTK 6582M and Mali 400 MP2, 416 MHz graphic processor. It runs on Android v4.4 KitKat operating system. It permits you switch between apps easily and do multiple things with ease.

Camera and Memory

The smartphone packs a rear camera of 5 mega-pixels with features like auto-focus, digital zoom and LED flash and a clear resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. It has also got a front facing camera of 0.3 mega-pixels with a resolution of 640x480 pixels mainly for capturing selfies and video calling. On the storage side, it has an internal memory of 4 GB that can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD card. It bids a RAM of 512 GB.

Connectivity and Battery

For connectivity options it supports GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, USB connectivity, bluetooth for wireless data sharing. For navigation purpose it has got GPS, A-GPS. It operates on 2G (GSM 900 / 1800 MHz) and 3G (HSDPA 2100 Mhz). It includes alarm clock, organizer, office applications etc. The smartphone has a battery backup of Li-ion 1820 mAh that offers a talktime of 19 hours and a standby time of 610 hours.
