XOLO has earned its reputation in the Indian market by launching both mid-range and high range smartphones. It always come out with new and improved designs for their product whether it is tablet or smartphone. The latest mobile announced by XOLO in August, 2014 is 'XOLO Q610s'.

Display and Design

It features 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen at the front with 480x854 pixels resolution, 16Million color depth and 218ppi pixel density. It also responds beautifully to the multitouch gestures. Designed by using a bar format, it has height of 128mm, width of 64.3mm and thickness of 9.3mm as its dimensions.

Processor and OS

The XOlO Q610s packs a dual-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 processor, MediaTek MT658M chipset and Mali-400MP2 GPU paired with 1GB RAM for the speedy operations. Running the device is an Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

Camera and Storage

To let you capture special moments of life, it comes equipped with an autofocus 5MP camera with LED flash, face detection, panorama, touch focus and geo-tagging features. It provides a picture resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. On the front, it has only 0.3 MP camera for the acceptable quality pictures. In terms of storage, it supports expandable memory of up to 64GB along with an in-built memory of 8GB.

Connectivity and Battery

It offers GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi for the user connectivity and a bluetooth to assist in wireless data sharing. It also support microUSB for PC connectivity. Inside the phone, there is Li-Ion 1700mAh battery which delivers 2G talktime and stand-by time of up to 19 hours and 430 hours. Whereas, it provides maximum 3G talktime of up to 8 hours and standby time of up to 377 hours.

This feature rich smartphone comes with very common color options including White and Black. It is priced at Rs. 7499 approximately.
