Overview

Mid-Range KitKat Based Smartphone With Good Camera Features

The Chinese mobile maker, ZTE is active in producing mobile phones, tablets, hotspots and broadband modems. It launched STAR 1 smartphone in April, 2014 and now it has added a successor of this device in its portfolio by the name of 'ZTE Star 2'. It comes with very interesting feature called 'Voice control system' which provides you comfort while dialing numbers. It will do things just by a simple voice command.

Display and Design

The phone includes 5- inch HD OGS capacitive touchscreen that provides a display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It supports multitouch gestures for gaming and camera features. It is also coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for the protection from scratches and damages. It has a height of 140.5mm, width of 69.2mm and thickness of 6.9mm as its dimensions. It is designed by using bar format.

Processor and OS

The phone packs a 2.3GHz Quad- core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU under the hood along with a 2GB RAM to provide enough space to the data that need fast access. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system which also support MiFavor 3.0 UI.

Camera and Memory

The phone packs 13MP camera at the back panel which clicks a pictures of 4128x3096 pixels resolution. It also includes some features like digital zoom, auto- focus, dual LED flash, 88 degree wide angle lens and face detection. For the selfie lovers, it has got a 5MP camera at front which provides a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. For storage purpose, it supports internal memory of 16GB which can be further expandable through microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

It offers faster internet experience to its users through Wi-Fi, 2G/3G/4G support, GPRS and EDGE. It also has Bluetooth and USB cable for the wireless data sharing and PC connectivity. For the navigation purpose, it has got a GPS and A- GPS. It draws a backup from 2300mAh battery which resides under the hood to provide day long use without charging again and again.
