ZTE Corporation deals with telecommunication equipments and network solutions. This China based company is among the top ten largest smartphone manufacturers in the world. Its ZTE X175 is a basic featured phone that is expected in India.

Design and Display

It has a small monochrome display on the front panel, along with a circular shaped D -pad and well spaced alphanumeric keypad. The control key cluster comprises of two separate calling keys, select and back keys. Its dimension figures includes 101 mm of height, 44 mm of width and 13.4 mm of thickness along with a weight of 73 grams. Overall, the phone has a compact design and good build quality.

Software and Memory

ZTE X175 runs on the Proprietary Operating System and has the support of 32 MB of internal memory. It has assembled the Qualcomm MSN6000 chipset and has the assistance of 8 MB Flash SRAM. User can store 200 entries in the phonebook. The phone can store 20 records under missed, received and dialed sections of call history. On the messaging part, it supports only SMS and can store 20 SMS's in its inbox and 20 in outbox.

Telephony and Battery

ZTE X175 is a dual SIM phone ( CDMA + CDMA ) and runs on the dual band CDMA 1900 MHz frequencies. It has a standard battery of 850 mAh that claims a standby time of up to 160 hours and talktime of up to 4 hours.

Other Features

User can play the inbuilt games in his leisure time or can set the ringtone of the phone from its inbuilt 12 polyphonic ringtones. User can also use the earphones to take calls while moving or for listening music. The phone also features an alarm clock and a calculator.
