Karbonn K1 Rock is a simple, basic and compact device announced in July, 2014. It is a dual SIM handset available at an affordable price of INR 949. The company has launched this phone in 4 different color options such as White, Black, Red and Grey. The sales package comprises a battery, handset, charger, user manual and warranty card.

It is a bar shaped phone whose front is dominated by a 1.8 inch QVGA, TFT display that has a resolution of 128x160 pixels to offer decent quality viewing for normal tasks. The pixel density is 114 ppi. At the front, it poses a 0.3 MP camera with digital zoom which carries a resolution of 640x480 pixels. It lacks front camera so the user is not able to do video calls.

The R1 Rock comes with a memory card slot which enables you to store documents and files in the 16GB expandable memory. The user can easily store 500 contacts in its phonebook memory. Powered by a Li-Ion 1050 mAh battery, the handset is capable to deliver a talk-time of 6 hours as well as stand-by time of 250 hours. From the connectivity point of view, it is backed by limited options like Bluetooth for sharing files, WAP, handsfree and GPRS for accessing the web.

There are also some entertaining features included in the multimedia department which is quite helpful to kill the free time. It comprises a FM radio with recording, image viewer, music player, video recording, voice recording, games and video player. Overall, Karbonn K1 Rock is a good performer which is quite handy and has good battery back-up.
