Karbonn K275 is a basic featured non-touchscreen phone that is available at a low price. Its box contents include a handset, battery, charger, user manual, earphone and warranty card.

Design and Display

The phone has got a classic bar shape with curved edges and a sleek silver lining around its sides. Its front panel consists of a screen and a silver bordered circular shaped D-pad that has two keys on its left and right sides. Below it, there is an alphanumeric keypad which is comfortable to use. The back panel is a rugged surface which makes it easy to grip in hand. K275 has got a 2.4 inches QVGA display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels. Its dimension figures includes a height of 124.5 mm, width of 52 mm and thickness of 12 mm.

Hardware and Software

It works on the Proprietary Operating System and has the ability to store 300 contacts and 100 SMS in its memory. Its storage capacity can be expanded up to 8 GB with a microSD slot.

Telephony and Messaging

The phone supports two GSM connections, but you can use only one at a time. It works on the Dual band GSM 900 / 1800 MHz frequencies. For messaging, it supports SMS along with the T9 dictionary to help in typing accurately.

Camera

For the camera lovers, it has a 0.3 MP camera at the back with Zoom facility that gives fine pictures. You can also record videos with its camera.

Entertainment

Coming on the entertainment front, it avails image viewer, music player and video player. It supports jpg / png / gif / bmp formats of image files, mp3 / midi / amr / aac / wav formats of audio files and mp4/ 3gp formats of video files. Its FM radio feature comes with the recording option, that means you can record your favorite show or song from the radio and save it in your memory card. User can set MP3 format ringtones on the phone or switch to the vibration mode if in a meeting.

Connectivity and Battery

On the connectivity part, the phone is GPRS and WAP enabled. It also carries a Bluetooth but it does not has the A2DP support. It packs a Li-ion battery of 1050 mAh that claims a stand-by time of up to 250 hours and talktime of up to 6 hours.

Other Features

Apart from the basic features like alarm clock, organizer, calender, clock etc it comes loaded with features like world times, stop watch and anti theft feature.
