Samsung is the known brand among mobile phones. The company has released the Samsung E1272, a compact and lightweight phone in December, 2013.

Design and Dimensions

The Samsung E1272 is a clam-shell shaped device which is comfortable to hold. It comes with a height of 95 mm, width of 46.5 mm and a thickness of 18 mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 82.9 grams.

User Interface and Comfort to Use

The phone has a TFT display of 1.77-inches which provides a resolution of 160x128 pixels and 166 ppi of pixel density. The keys are well placed, which are quite responsive to the input signals. The Samsung E1272 has RAM of 32 MB and a ROM of 64 MB. Powering the device is a 208 MHz processor and it runs on Proprietary operating system.

Telephony and Messaging

The E1272 is a dual SIM phone that operates on GSM (900/1800 MHz) and 2G frequencies. One can store a limited number of contacts to the phonebook. There is a SMS facility available for the device. It is featured with a fake call option and T9 dictionary, in order to facilitate typing.

Music Player and Other Features

The device comes with the option of a music player, FM radio, image viewer and video recording, all for the listening pleasure and entertainment of users. Options includes SNS Integrations, calender, alarm clock, organizer and a clock. It also comes pre-loaded with some of the games to play with. The E1272 features a 3.5 mm audio jack slot.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the E1272 includes GPRS, USB port and hands-free connectivity. WAP browser is there to handle the searches and apps thrown on its way. The phone is equipped with a Li-Ion battery of 800 mAh which offers an extremely good talk-time up to 11 hours and a standby up to 610 hours.
