Asus Launches Fonepad in India

Asus launches 'Asus Fonepad', an upgraded version tablet in India at a price tag of Rs. 17,999 on 'Flipkart.com' online store. The current version sports a better processor and upgraded internal storage than the original version.

It has a 7inch LED backlit display having resolution of 1280x800 pixels, 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2460 processor, 1GB of RAM, PowerVR SGX540 GPU for graphics, runs the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. 

It offers a 1.2MP front facing cameras and 3MP rear having a battery backup of 4270mAh. Reportedly, the tablet can provide 32hours of talk time & 751 hours of stand by time. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 3G are some of the connectivity features.

So, on a whole the updated version of the phone has an upgraded performance.
