Gionee Announces Elife S5.5, the World's Thinnest Smartphone

Gionee has revealed the World's thinnest smartphone 'Elife S5.5' in China with the price tag of 2299 Chinese Yuan (approx., may vary) for the 3G model. It is available in five different color shades including Blue, White, Purple, Black and Pink.

Gionee Elife S5.5 comes with a 5-inch Full HD Super Amoled touch screen along with a display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. At the heart, it has 1.7Ghz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. The OS of this smartphone is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. For the wonderful camera experience, it is equipped with an auto-focus 13MP rear camera along with LED flash and front-facing camera of 5MP along with 95 degree wide-angle lens.

The connectivity options include: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi,  USB OTG GPS and 3G network. While in the terms of storage, it supports internal memory of 16GB. company has fueled it up with 2300mAh battery.
