Micromax Canvas Gold A300 Price Drops to Rs. 20999

Micromax, who has introduced 'Canvas Gold A300' smartphone last week on its official website at Rs. 23999, now reduced its price to Rs. 20999. It is company's high-end phone, which comes loaded with wonderful features. Though the company has not launched it officially, but it went on sale from last week through online retailers. But, now customers can purchase it at Rs. 3000 less amount from the online retailer Flipkart.com.

This Gold variant of the Canvas A300 has an attractive looks with the Gold and Black color combination. Feature wise, this phone packs a big 5.5-inch IPS display at the front with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. At the heart, it packs a 2Ghz Octa-core processor with MediaTek MT6592T chipset and 2GB RAM for the fast processing.  Operating system version offered in this phone is the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. For storage, it support 32GB internal memory from which 25GB storage is for mass storage and 1.5GB is for applications.

On the camera front, it brings auto-focus 16MP rear camera for LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. For data connectivity and data sharing, Micromax Canvas Gold A300 offers Bluetooth, GPS, 3G support and Wi-Fi. The company has fueled it up with 2300mAH battery for the long lasting working capability.

Apart from this wonderful phone, Micromax has many handsets in its Canvas family, from which 'Canvas Knight' is the one. Canvas Knight was released in March 2014 with a price tag of Rs. 19000. Its features are almost similar to Canvas Gold A300, but the only difference lies in battery. Canvas Knight comes loaded with a quite higher battery capacity. However, there are plenty of Android KitKat phones available in the Indian market with the same price tag, it will have tough competition with the 'HTC Desire 816' and 'Samsung Galaxy S5'.
