Nokia X – Nokia’s 1st Entry-level Android Smartphone Announced

Nokia has recently announced its Android smartphone series at MWC 2014 held in Barcelona and Nokia X Dual SIM is the first smartphone among them to be introduced in the market. It is an entry level smartphone with the interesting features, which are worth according to its price range.

Talking about the specs, Nokia X is a dual SIM smartphone which has 4-inch WVGA display with a screen resolution of 800x480 pixels. Inside, it packs a 1Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 512MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean operating system. For storage, it support internal memory of 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB through the microSD card. On connectivity front, it offers Bluetooth, 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi. It uses Microsoft Cloud instead of Google Cloud for app data.

For shutterbugs, it brings a normal 3.15 MP rear camera with a highest picture resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. It has a capability of video recording but the phone lacks front camera. The company has made it available in five wonderful color options including Black, Green, White, Red, Cyan and It would be priced  around Rs.7,500 (approx., may vary).

In addition to Nokia X Dual SIM, the company is also planning to launch the other mid-range device soon under the X series. It might cost around Rs.10,500 approximately.
