YotaPhone Comes Up With Another Price Cut In India

In October, 2014 YotaPhone was released on Flipkart with dual displays at a price tag of INR 23,499. After the launch, the smartphone has received a huge price cut of INR 17,999 within a month. Now the device has got price cut of INR 5000 and is available for INR 12,999 from Flipkart.

 Coming to the specifications, it comes with a 4.3-inch LCD multi-touch display that offers a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. On the other hand, it also has 4.3-inch E-Ink rear screen that exhibits a resolution of 360×640 pixels. It comes with special YotaPhone gestures and Put2Back applications for the back display. It has got a color depth of 16 million leading to a pixel density of 342ppi. Measurements wise, it has got a height of 133.6mm, a width of 67mm and a thickness of 9.99mm. It weighs at 146 grams. It features accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, compass sensor, gyroscope sensor and ambient light sensor.

As far as processor is concerned, it packs a 1.7 GHz Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 processor which is coupled with 2GB RAM in order to store files, documents, songs and videos. It is based on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system which is the outdated version Android. Talking about its imaging department, it is being equipped with amazing 13MP autofocus rear shooter through which one can record 1080p full HD video recording. This camera poses a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. On the other side, for selfies and video chat, it supports 1MP front camera providing a resolution of 1280x960 pixels.
 
The Yotaphone comes loaded with 32GB internal memory and has no microSD slot. Connectivity wise, it supports 3G, bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and GPS w/A-GPS + GLONASS.  It gets power from 1800mAh battery which works a day. For entertainment, it has FM radio, video player, music player, voice recording and games.
