Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Goes on Sale in India for Rs. 11900

The market leader, Samsung has came out with its latest mid-range smartphone, 'Galaxy Core 2' for the Indian customers. It is the successor of last year launched smartphone 'Galaxy Core'. Customers can buy it from the official store of the company at Rs. 11900 approximately.

In the terms of specifications, this dual SIM phone features a 4.5-inch capacitive touch screen display along with a 800x400 pixels resolution. In the heart, it packs a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor which comes coupled with a 768MB RAM. It operates on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The dimensions of the phone are measured as 130.2mm height, 67.9mm width, 9.8mm thickness and it weighs at138 grams.

Storage wise, it supports an internal memory of 4GB which can be further expandable up to 64GB with the help of microSD card. For the shutterbugs, it brings a 5MP camera on back with LED flash and 0.3MP camera on front for the front shots. It also support 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio for the entertainment of its users. Connectivity features of the phone includes 3G support, Wi-Fi, GPS+GLONASS and Bluetooth. While the phone draws backup from a 2000mAh battery.

This mid-range device by the company comes with two color options including White and Black. It is available only through the official Samsung stores with a price tag of Rs. 11900 (approx., may vary).  The vice president of marketing and IT at Samsung stated that, "The Galaxy Core 2 is the perfect device for users who want an optimal mix of style, portability and power. We are confident that the Core 2 will help us augment our existing market share in the Rs 10,000-15,000 price range."
