Samsung Unveiled Galaxy Grand 2 in India

Samsung has finally introduced its new high-end device for the Indian market dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. It will be available to its customers by the beginning of January 2014. It is Dual SIM with smart dual SIM support smartphone. It comes with a 5.25-inch capacitive touch screen display along with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The dimensions of the phone are measured as 146.8x75.3x8.9 mm and it weighs at 163 grams.

Inside, it has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1.5GB RAM and Adreno 305 GPU. While, it runs on an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system for the smooth app performance. It brings an 8MP rear camera with auto focus feature and LED flash for the camera lovers to click and share their special moments. While on its front side, it has a 1.9MP HD secondary camera for selfies and video calling.

Its back cover has a leather coating which gives you premium feel. Storage wise, it sports 8GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot. Connectivity features of the phone includes Wi-Fi support, GPRS, EDGE,  GPS, Bluetooth and 3G network.

It draws a backup from a 2600mAh battery. Apart from these general features, Galaxy Grand 2 also comes with quite interesting features including Samsung Hub, Samsung Link, Story Album, S Travel, Group Play to name a few. The company hasn't revealed any information about the price of this handset. But according to the speculations, it would cost around INR 22900 or 24900.
