Nokia has launched the much-awaited dual-SIM phone ‘Asha 500’ in India with a price tag of INR 4649. It comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels. Some of the unique display features of Asha 500 are tactile feedback, Nokia glance screen and screen double tap. The pixel per inch density of the display is 142ppi and it also supports accelerometer and proximity sensor.

Gionee has launched the ‘Elife E7’ Android smartphone in India with a price tag of INR 26,999 for the 2GB/16GB model and INR 29,999 for the 3GB/32GB model. The phone is powered by a 2.2GHz processor with 2/3GB of RAM and internal memory of 16/32GB. The operating system of Elife E7 is Android v4.2 based Amigo 2.0.
